Chuang Xiong mineral insulated cable is called MI cable for short. When used as wiring, domestic custom is called Magnesium Oxide cable or fireproof cable. It is a copper core copper sheath cable with mineral magnesia powder as insulating copper core. The mineral insulated cable is composed of two inorganic materials, copper conductor, Magnesium Oxide and copper sheath. Mineral insulated cables were carried out early in foreign countries. Early in the late nineteenth Century, a Swiss engineer Arnold FrancoisBorel proposed the idea of mineral insulated cables, and was patented in 1896. Composition: mineral insulated cable is a cable with annealed copper as conductor, dense Magnesium Oxide as insulation and annealed copper tube as a sheath. When necessary, a layer of plastic outer cover is packed outside the annealed copper sheath, and a low smoke and halogen free sheath can be added to the non smokeless and non halogen occasions.
